HSE one day Emergency First Aid Course

A one day emergency course from 09:00am until 17:00 pm. This course is suitable for "Appointed Persons" under the Health and Safety Regulations.

This course covers:

  • Resuscitation
  • Control of bleeding
  • Shock
  • Management of unconscious casualty
  • Communications and contents of First Aid Boxes and their use
  • Heart disorders and epilepsy
  • Treatment of burns and scalds
A certificate of attendance is presented and the training must be repeated every three years to ensure the certificate remains valid.
